I have been to the site and perused its offerings. I will be in Venice for 4 days. I am a huge museum/art/ church tourist so i thought about buying the adult gold or platinum card. My questions are as follows:
Is there a more economical way to visit Venice? I have read about a Church card and public transportation card and just pay the museums as I go along.
Has anyone done the research for their own trip and would like to share?

And this on the vaporetto. Note this is for 24 hr increments if you first activation is at say 3:00pm it lasts till the same time the next day. Don't buy more than you need.

Add these together, then add up the sights you wish to visit and add to the above. Only this will find if the Venezia Unica tourist card is a good value. My opinion is since its setup for 7 days it probably isn't.
