Venezia Mestre to S.L.

Oops! I realized that I bought (very discounted Sparschienne) tickets from Venice to Vienna from Venezia Mestre, not Venezia Santa Lucia. Should we buy a separate ticket from S.L. to Mestre, or would we be able to get on with our current ticket?

If you are on a train goes on to SL from Mestre the fare is probably the same so no problem. Chances are slim that they would check the ticket between Mestre and SL. The tickets only cost €1, though if you want to be completely legit.
