Hi, I have never used Venere.com before and I just checked the site of Venere in Rome , there were a lot of hotels. Just wondering if anyone has booked thru Venere there and if yes, could you recommend a hotel? To me, their price seems lower. Thanks.

Venere.com is a very popular hotel site. However, you may get an even better rate by contacting the hotel directly. Check out reviews on Trip Advisor and email any hotels or B&Bs you may be interested in. What area are you looking to stay in? I found a great rate at Flamini Domus Charming Suites for a double room with a shared kitchen. Its near Campo di Fiore, which is a great area to stay in and will allow us to walk to all the major sites.

Hi Amy, at first we were planning to stay near the termini but now I am not sure. I read somewhere that some area are not quite safe there. There were suggestions in other forum about staying close to Piazza Navona or campioni. Thanks.

The Termini area is as safe as any other part of Rome where tourists are. We have spent about three weeks total in the Termini area for the past five years. Would return tomorrow.

I have used venere.com many times and they are safe and reliable. You could find hotels on venere and then check with the hotel's website for a better price. Once you've done this you can make your decision. Buon viaggio,
