Vegetarian food in Cinque Terre

I am a vegetarian (will eat cheese and egg) traveling to Cinque Terre (specifically Manarola) and want to enjoy some of the local flavors. Does anyone know of any good restaurants for vegetarian fare? Thanks.

The CT? Liguria, the province in which the CT resides, is where pesto was first introduced, Pasta al pesto is great. Additionally, much of the pizza there is vegetarian. The base is foccacia topped with olive oil, herbs, onions and other veggies. The only meat we saw on a pizza was tuna. You should be fine with the Italian breakfast. Fruits, cereals, juices and dairy. Hope you can eat gelato.

Just get the Troffi al Pesto... can't beat it! Lots of good pasta with pesto.

I will second the troffi al pesto! The CT is the birthplace of pesto and they have some amazing pesto dishes! Had some great pesto lasagna here too. Do try the focaccia, which is the bread of the Ligurian region. There is a focacceria on the main drag in Vernazza, (going from the waterfront to the train station on the lefthand side)that has many different kinds of the bread. Wonderful!!! Have been to the CT 2x and love it there! Have a great trip!
