Vegan day tours/excursions in Tuscany

My husband and I will be in Italy next May 2026, and will be in Tuscany for part of that. We are looking for day tours/excursions that ensure vegan options for meals. We are not interested in winetasting.Any suggestions?

On many day tours, meals are on your own which means you could choose to bring your own lunch or check out in advance the food options for the town where the tour stops for lunch. You might also ask the tour operator for suggestions. If you are looking for an intentionally vegan-focused tour, Green Earth Travel is a small travel agency in the DC area that arranges vegan tours and travel for clients, but that may be more than what you are looking for.

Have you looked at what is available on Viator or Get Your Guide? You do not have to book through the re-sellers but you can at least see what tours are available, what menu they have, etc. I sometimes will see whether or not vegan/vegetarian options are or are not available.

If you see a tour you like, you can always click through and find out who it is operated by. It never hurts to contact the operator directly to confirm the menu restrictions or even to request if you could have a private tour with your specific needs. It will cost you for such a service but might be what you need to do.

I will say that having a look for my own research for my trip in the region, so many tours have a wine and cheese focus, so vegan is often not an option. But that does not mean you can find someone to cater to your needs at a higher rate.
