Last time we were at the Vatican our tour guide said there is an underground tour that takes you down to where they believe Peter's tomb is actually located. But she said tickets are tough to get and must be done in advance. So, have any if you done this tour? If so how did you go about getting tickets?

The Vatican Scavi tour is the one I think you're referring to. Only 250 people a day are allowed. I have not done the tour but I have my tickets. You need to send an email as far in advance as possible with your dates of travel and if there is availability, they will pick a time and day for you and if you accept you send your payment. The process was easy and I received a response within 24 hours of making my request, although I have read that other people had to wait a bit longer to hear back.
