vatican tour with angel tours

we want to do a guided vatican tour, checked with angel tours 50 euros(includes admission) for the morning tour, 30 euros(does not include admission) for the afternoon tour. seems pricey or is this the going rate for guided tours at the vatican ??? thanks :):)

I did an Angel tour last year of the Vatican and I thought I paid about 25Euro plus admission which from memory was about 13Euro. From what I found surfing the net that was a pretty good price and was significantly cheaper than some. Try googling 'vatican tours' and see what comes up to give you a comparison. By the way I did think the tour was good.

We used Angel Tours in Nov last year for the Skip the line Vatican tour. It lasted 4 hours. For the amount of time the guide gives you, the group size, etc. I think it was a good deal. Especially when we walked past the line waiting to get in. The guides know all the guards at the Vatican, and they know their way around. It's worth it.

Do plan on a few extra E to tip at the end. We did 10E for the 2 of us. (all the cash I had left at that time)

Tours are not cheap, and I promise you, you get what you pay for. The Vatican is not the place to skip on this...you need someone to help you through this place.

Do the morning tour.
