I cannot get Vatican tickets through the Vatican web site. I am looking at a tour through www.artviva.com. Has anyone gone on this tour? Any suggestions? Help!

I actually think you may not be able to get tickets until 60 days prior to your anticipated reservation date. Don't panic just wait a week or so and try again.

The vatican only sells tickets about 60 days out. Just wait and purchase through them. The tour is great and is the cheapest price. It also allows you to bypass the lines for no extra cost. Donna

I booked Vatican tours thru the official Vatican web site with no problem. I booked in July for our mid-August trip. I agree that you should wait until the date you'll be there is closer and then try again.

Thanks everyone! I was able to find a help email address on the Vatican web site and they confirmed that they only take reservations 60 days out. I was worried for nothing! :-) Thanks for the helpful information everyone.
