Hello my sister and I have tickets to the museum and Sistine chapel Tommorow . I have a couple questions .. they say 2:00 pm so do we have to be there right at 2:00 pm or if we come a little late is that ok ? (Just wondering how much I have to stress over time Tommorow ). Also has anyone just did the rick Steve’s audio tour for the museum and chapel and how did you like it versus a tour or other audio guide ? Is St Peters basilica easily accessible from the museum and is that a separate ticket to go inside ?

I would highly recommended being there on time or slightly before. Understand that this is one of Rome's top attractions and so they don't need to be flexible with people who miss their time slots.
As stated on the website under "General Norms of Purchase":
"Those who do not present themselves at the designated time, will lose their right of access at the chosen time."
Arrive early.
St. Peter's Basilica is free to enter, but you will usually have to exit the museum through the main entrance (especially if you have rented a headset that must be returned there), walk back around the ramparts, and wait in a new (possibly long) security line to enter St. Peter's. There is a shortcut exit from near the Sistine Chapel, but it's meant for groups and you can't count on using it.
