I've done at least 15 Context tours in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Paris. I've only had great experiences. That include their tour of the Vatican Museums and St Peter's. I learned so much and really enjoyed it... even though I already been to the basilica and museums several times on two previous trips. The guide I had taught Baroque art history at the university level, was a Catholic who had returned to the Church, and was on the board that licenses guides in Rome. She was informative and entertaining. She (and most Context guides I've had) asked participants about their interests and then adapted the tour to those interests. Groups are limited to 6 and go with fewer. The guides provide quality and interesting information. When I've taken other tours, they often target the lowest common denominator, with myths, stories, and gossip. I know that Context also provides family tours to address needs of children, if that's of importance. I've not taken any of those tours. PM me if you have any questions, but I can assure you I've never been as enthusiastic about any travel vendor as I am about Context.
