Vatican site - does the early breakfast guided tour avoid the crowds?

Was looking at the Vatican site for early access reservation but the only early access I saw included breakfast
They had more than one option, including one that was listed as 'guided'
Wondering if by the time the guide finally starts the tour, it will end up being at the same time the gates are opened to the general public anyway. I also see it's only a couple of hours long, and have seen 3hr long tours (for 30E more) by walks of Italy (the Pristine Sistine)
Is anyone familiar and can give me some additional insight?
Thank you!

Thank you for the reply, I was aware the Vatican opened at 9am, but the breakfast tour sounded like they were letting you in early for the breakfast, and then later the tour would start with the result being that I would be there at the same time as the 'few minutes early' tours run by companies, and shortly thereafter, the general public. I am sorry if I was not clear.

I will either just use audio early breakfast (when I can quick eat and then start when I wish) or have also considered just going later in the day on day I get to Rome to see if crowds were actually thinner then. If anyone has recent experience with the late entry I would appreciate your thoughts. thank you.

If part of your question is asking about the "Pristine Sistine" tour with Walks of Italy, that definitely gets you in to see the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel before it is open to the general public and before the large crowds. Their guides are very knowledgeable and interesting. We went 2 years ago, and I recommended them to my sister and her husband. They really enjoyed the tour and appreciated being in before the crowds, as well. For our tour, we met at a cafe where you could get breakfast if you arrived a few minutes early. It was well worth the money.

Thank you very much. I am also considering a night tour offered on the Vatican site as well, thinking it may also be less crowded and it might give me some extra space during the day. Trying to leave some downtime, but as you well know, so much to see and so little time :-)

The breakfast tour usually begins around 8:30 so it's a little before the "day crowds" get inside. It will give you enough time to get to the chapel before the majority of the crowds then you can go back to visit rooms you missed.

None of the tours get you inside the Sistine Chapel much before 8:30.

Ditto va from va, above. Did the Pristine Sistine tour last Dec. : met at the cafe maybe 7:30am, got escorted past the teeming hordes' line to be first thru the empty sculptures-tapestries-maps halls to the Chapel, & then in the Chapel with walk-around room for a good amount of time. Not so later (SO not so). Plus your guide has a microphone & you a head-set, so even in the noisy crowds you hear.
Our guide was excellent, expert & funny, from Canada. At the end, you can stay as long as you want in the Basilica. And outside, by noon the entrance line goes past the huge columnade, no exaggeration. In theory I'd have liked longer in the Museums, but we'd already o.d.'d on stimuli, so 3 hrs 45 min - ample.

Thank you all for the info. I am waiting to make my colosseum underground/3rd tier reservation and will know then whether the night or early tour will fit in best.

We have tickets for this October with Dark Rome City Wonder tours for their Vatican Sistine Express at 7:30 AM. Supposedly we have a guided early tour to the Sistine Chapel and then we can remain as long as we like in the museums and see them on our own. This is our second time to the Vatican museums so we prefer to explore on our own. Last time we had skip the line tickets in the afternoon and the Sistine Chapel was quite crowded so this time we are hoping for a more peaceful experience.
