We are just getting our daily plan together for a 15 day visit to Italy this August 2023, and we have been able to secure both:
Vatican Extra time Sistine Chapel w/ Happy Hour and
Scavi visit.
Both on the same day, so it will be a fabulous day spent in Vatican City.
Sounds great!
Be aware that as you get further and further underground on the Scavi tour, it gets hotter and very humid.
Take water, a fan, small spray bottle of water to cool you off, a cooling gel neck cloth, light clothing.
There is nowhere to sit if you need to, at least not when we went.
We thought it would get cooler down there…..not so!
