Hi, I am trying to book The Prime experience Vatican tour( one that includes early access and breakfast) but do not see anything listed that matches the description on the official Vatican website. Do I have to purchase these thru an extetnal vendor?
We want to visit on May 24th, 2024.

I believed the Vatican has changed hours and offerings, starting this past January, 2024. Good luck!

There are no longer tours offered--by the Vatican or by private companies--that get you into the Vatican Museums before they open to the general public. You may still want a tour, and it seems likely that getting in during the first ticketed period yields slightly less crowded conditions than you'll encounter 15, 30, 45, 60... minutes later. But a significant part of the value of the early tours no longer exists. Companies are still advertising "early access", and it's not a lie, because 8 AM is early. It's just that it's not earlier access than you can get by simply purchasing a regular entry ticket for 8 AM at (i'm guessing) about 1/4 or 1/5 the cost of a commercial tour.
