Vatican Pinacoteca Gallery question

Having booked my tickets to the Vatican Museum, I wondering if the Pinacoteca Gallery is open? Does anyone know? If so, what’s the best strategy to see it in terms of traffic flow with other galleries? Since time is limited I am considering to focus only on paintings, aside from the Laocoon and Apollo Belvedere. So, I know it’s a sacrilege but, I will skip Egypt, the Pine Cone and the Maps.

Including the Pinacoteca I want to see the Raphael apartments and Sistine Chapel. Is this doable? I have a 7:30pm entry on a Friday night. I here the crowds are thick! Any tips much appreciated. Thank you.

I don't know what the situation is now, but in Oct 2019 we had that same entry time and the Pinacoteca Gallery was closed. Fortunately, we'd been to the Vatican Museums on 3 previous occasions and had seen it then.

Lucky you! If I can’t get in this trip it will be motivation to go back. Do you have any suggestions for navigating the Vatican Museum? Is it possible it to go to the Sistine Chapel first and the backtrack toward the entrance? Thanks.

I had no trouble backtracking in March except getting through the crowds of people going the other way. The Sistine Chapel is a long walk from the entry point. The Pinacoteca is quite close to the entry point, though I don't know how clear the signage is.

Thank you. I’m just going to ‘turn it over to Jesus’ and see what happens. :D Does anyone know if the Pinacoteca has regular hours?
