I have tried to book the Vatican entrance tickets online but they give a reservation code and then when you continue, the process is denied stating that they don't take online credit card . Is this reservation code enough to skip the lines and then pay when I am there?

Yes, they stopped taking credit online in January. You just need the reservation code when you get to the museums. There is a special desk inside for you to pay without waiting in the normal line Donna

Thank you all - the problem has been solved. For others out there having problems this is what worked. Used Google chrome instead of Internet explorer and cleared the cache before trying again. This time the ticket reservation was accepted and the email with the voucher followed. The voucher requires cash payment at the Museum as they are no longer taking credit cards.
