We reserved tickets for the vatican, but we haven't been able to find a place to print them out. We are staying around that piazza novona. Can someone tell us if we need a print out (we have an iphone)? Or, is there somewhere we can print it out before arriving? Thanks!

I don't know that the Vatican is up for this, but some museums will just let you show the reservation on your phone or ipad. The entrance to the Vatican museums (I'm assuming that's what you're asking about) is not exactly computer friendly, but the Galleria Borghese is). You will probably be able to log in to your email account from your hotel and ask them to print it, or you can print it out from a Western Union or other Internet Point. I suggest going to the Vatican with the printed out reservation.

IF you can't find a place to print them, take your phone with you with the reservation displayed and explain to the Swiss Guard first and then the guy in the little office that the Swiss Guard will point you to. The Italian words you might want to have handy are "Abbiamo una prenotazione" for "We have a reservation" as you point at the phone. And "non possiamo stamparla" for "We can't print it." Write those phrases down and take them with you. Fortunately these particular phrases in Italian are pronounced the same as if they were Spanish. Pronounce every consonant and vowel in those phrases, or just show him the phrases written down. Be prepared to look VERY worried and apologetic. Then be sure to say "Grazie" a LOT when they let you in. Good luck!

There are lots of internet cafes where you can have things printed for you. You can also ask your hotel front desk if they can print it for you. If that doesn't work you can try this: # Q. I lost my Voucher, it is possible to have a copy of it? A. Yes, Click in the left menu on "Voucher resending" and fill in the mandatory fields (email, reservation code and date of birth of the person concerning the reservation). In case of missing reception of the email containing the copy of the Voucher, contact the help desk at the email address written at the end of the page.

I emailed the vatican and their response was "you can show the voucher on your iphone." Of course, I received the response after I spent 7 euro printing it out... Our hotel didn't have a working printer.
