Vatican Musuem and Happy hour

Hi all
Do you know anything about" Buffet Aperitif in the magnificent setting of the Pinecone Courtyard in Vatican"?
For a family of four it would cost 124 Euros. Of course 64 Euros is the admission tickets and booking fee so the meal would cost 60 Euros for 4 people. What is aperitif in Italy?
Thanks

Wine and finger food. Usually high quality food if they call it "aperitif", but 15 € per person isn't that much money so do not expect lobster, truffles and champagne. In summer I bet they will serve cold cuts, cherry tomatoes, some Melon and Parma ham with wine from the Castelli area.

A less posh "aperitivo" out of the Vatican, is when you pay a fixed price for a glass of wine and a reasonable (read: polite, it's not an all you can eat chinese restaurant) quantity of finger food that goes from pizza by the slice to pasta salad to rice balls to... whatever.

If you are on a budget, thanks to the aperitivo in northern Italy you can have an early dinner eating quite well and saving money. In Rome, as everything else an aperitivo is... a little cheap and rustled up? Halfway between family run and wrongly done?

In Italy if you see signs saying "happy hour" the all thing is more focused on alchol than food; note the non italian name.
