Is there still a night tour of the Vatican Museums? I can't find any info on the official website. I had a tour scheduled for a Friday evening two years ago, but had to scrap the whole trip to Rome.

Betsey, according to the Vatican's calendar, the museums will only be open in the evenings starting April 22 thru October, and only on Friday and Saturday nights. I believe you're traveling in March?

I didn't see anything on the Vatican's site for evening tours yet, and even checked three of the better independent tour companies which offer night tours and their calendars essentially match the Vatican's: nothing until later in the spring.

Robert, yes, google will turn up Roman Guy night tours as well as some others. However, if you look at the calendar availability for these tours, there's nothing before April 22, which is when the Vatican Museum calendar shows the start of high-season evening openings.
Roman Guy was one of the three tour companies I'd checked, and they do not show any affordable night tours before April 22. Our OP is traveling in March. There appears to be one tour on the Roman Guy site before April that's nearly $6,000 for two but must be booked 6 months in advance.
