Vatican Museums

Does RS have a download tour for the Vatican Museums? I only see Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica.
Is it better to sign up through the Vatican for the guided tour that covers museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peters with the head phones they provide? I need to decide right away.

My personal opinion is that you should take a guided tour the first time. The museums are massive. A guided tour will let you take your head out of the guidebook and expose you to the highlights in a knowledgable way. We liked the tour offered by Walks of Italy, http://www.walksofitaly.com/, but many people swear by the Vatican's own offering.

The vatican has an audio guide for the museums which you can rent onsite. If you wish to take a tour you can do it directly through the vatican website. It's a really good tour and takes you through the most popular rooms. There is a wonderful lesson about the artwork of the Sistine chapel before you enter so you know what you are seeing. http://biglietteriamusei.vatican.va/musei/tickets/do?weblang=en&do Donna
