Heading to Rome and Vatican City this summer and am trying to get in on the Vatican museum tour, "Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel." Has anyone ever taken these tours? I just wanted to get some feed back before I dropped the cash for the tour. Thanks for the help.

I have heard they are great. I have not heard about whether or not it helps avoid the lines.

If you mean the tour offered by the Vatican it does allow you to bypass the lines. It also allows you to take the "tour door" directly to the basilica after the tour is over. They give good, basic information on the tour and end just before entering the Sistiine Chapel. Donna

We tooked this tour 2 years ago, we enyoyed it, good guides, good overall tour just enough for our first visit to the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Worth the money.
