We're in Rome for two more days. I decided to save going to Vatican museum for Monday since heavy rain is expected (Sunday is closed). I've tried 3 different credit cards and even had my daughter try to buy from home. Now all tickets gone
Any suggestions? If we stand in line early will we get in?

I had the same problem.. I had to call my CC company and have a special protection added so The transaction would go through... Ended up doing n audio guide tour because the regular one was booked.
