We have tickets for a self guided tour. Are there audio/headphones we can pick up after we pass through the gates or do we need to download an app. If the latter, any recommendations would be appreciated. we also will be visiting St. Peter's Basilic. Thanks.

I have a question too? If you buy tickets on the official Vatican site are they automatically skip the line? I didn’t see a titled ticket for skip the line.

Rick Steves Audio Europe has audio tours of the Museum, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's. If you're on this forum you probably like Rick's style already.
For @darciecoyle all timed entry tickets are skip the line tickets (you skip the big line to buy tickets, but there's no skipping the security line)
