Vatican Museum

I want to purchase my tickets for the Vatican Museum ahead of time and do a Friday night reservation at 7:00 pm. My question is, would the Sistine Chapel be open as well at that time. I have read that it closes 1.5 hours earlier than the museums during the normal day hours. I want to be sure I can visit the Sistine Chapel before I purchase the ticket for the September 6th evening hours.

An extraordinary opportunity to visit the Vatican Museums after sunset. Every Friday from May 3rd to July 26th and from September 6th to October 25th, the Museums will be open to visitors from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm (last entrance at 9:30 pm).
Visitors will be able to admire important collections, following an itinerary that includes the Pio-Clementine Museum, the Egyptian Museum, the Upper Galleries (Candelabra, Tapestries and Maps), the Raphael's Rooms, the Borgia Apartment, the Collection of Modern Religious Art, the Sistine Chapel. *

Karen, If you're in the area I'd strongly recommend the Scavi tour (likely spelled that incorrectly! Sorry!) ~ its the tomb underground at St. Peter's and visiting is strictly limited. I'd suggest going onto the official Vatican site and checking it out. I know it doesn't sound too amazing but seriously, it was a highlight that I found out about through this message board :-) Lisa Sorry! Tried to get a hot link in here but that wasn't working! www.vatican.va if you cut and paste that you'll get there! Its called: EXCAVATIONS OFFICE Visits to the Tomb of Saint Peter and the Necropolis
