We are spending two days in Rome and want to go to the Vatican Museum but tickets on the official site are sold out for the days we are there. I see tickets (with guided tours) on various sites but am unsure which are the most reputable. Any suggestions?

People here have been very happy with Walks of Italy's early-access Pristine Sistine tour. If I were going to pay (a lot) extra for a tour, the most important thing to me would be getting into the museums before they open to the public and get impossibly crowded. I believe there are a few other companies also offering early access, one of which is the somewhat cheaper Dark Rome. At least one person here took the DR tour and was pleased with it.
I suggest Googling early access Vatican to see whether there are slots available on any of those tours. If Rome is your initial destination in Europe, you might prefer to schedule any super-early tour on your second full day, when the jetlag will have abated (one hopes).
