Has anyone done the Vatican gardens tour? Any opinions? Will be there in mid June. Thanks

It was regimented, with earphones and a mini bus, as well as group walking. But we enjoyed it. It is as much about architecture and Vatican history as it is about horticulture. We're glad we did it, and we're big garden-visit people. Paired with museums and St. Peter's, independent Vatican lunch, and the roof and dome. Walked from our hotel near Piazza Navona. Long but good day.
