Does anyone know when we can book the Vatican Friday Evening Tours through the Vatican?
My husband and I arrive by Train in Rome on Friday, June 3rd at 2pm. I thought this would be a good thing to do our first night there. We were also thinking of visiting St. Peter's Basilica before the tour starts. Hoping that's not too much to squeeze in one night. I appreciate anyone's thoughts.

Tickets on the Vatican website show as becoming available two months in advance. For instance, you can only purchase them today for dates sooner than April 17th or 18th (the 17th is a Sunday so it messes up the count a bit). For June 3rd, I'd start checking on April 2nd or 3rd.
It usually make sense to do the museums and basilica at the same time as they're in the same general area but do give yourself plenty of time to walk between them. If your plane doesn't get in until 2:00, you will probably have to hustle to-and-through the church.
I believe the first Friday night will be May 6th. Tickets should go on sale 60 days in advance.

I am now considering spending a little more and booking through Walks of Italy. Does anyone have any thoughts about their Vatican Friday tour? Is it a lot better than the Vatican tour guides?
