Vatican after hours at night tours

Hi Nurseanne,

i've taken the Vatican night tour back in 2012, WE started St Peters Basilica at around 4PM and then on to Vatican night tour at 7PM. The tour must be about 3 hours which the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums.We were lucky to see the fireworks by the Garden. By booking night tour, save alot of time sight seeing Rome. NOTE. I've booked the tour online

I've visited the Vatican museums on Friday nights and it was great. I wasn't with a guide but did it on my own. It is much less crowded than going during the day. You can book tickets or tours for the Friday nights at the Vatican museums on their website.

I think it's a great idea to book that later time. It certainly could not be any busier than daytime.
