Hi. I booked my own hotel room through venere.com. My travel agent (who booked my flight) asked me if the price I quoted her for the room included taxes. On the venere.com website, quoted next to the price per room, there was in parens the words "VAT included." Is VAT considered the taxes for the room, or am I going to get charged more for taxes? Thanks!
I have never seen a price in Europe that did not already include taxes.
Wish they would do that here.
VAT is always included in the price. Unlike in the US, taxes must be included in all prices at the time of booking.
Thank you for the replies. This is my second time to Italy, but this time I am doing all the planning myself and going alone, so I really need all the tips I can get. Thanks again!
