Hi, I first apologise if someone has posted similar posting. This is my first trip to Europe and am very confused with the VAT refund procedure. I will be travelling to the following cities / country in the following sequence: 1. Singapore - London 2. London - Paris 3. Paris - Suisse 4. Suisse - Munich 5. Munich - Singapore I'm not certain if all my VAT refunds for my purchases can be processed at Munich Airport. Have the following enquiries: 1. I read online that so long as the purchases are not bought in EU country, VAT refund cannot be processed upon departure of EU (in my case, is Munich). Is this true? 2. If above is true, how am I able to get my refund at Suisse (not EU) before proceeding to Munich? I will be travelling from Zurich to Munich via train.
3. For purchases at London, Paris & Munich, VAT refund can be processed at Munich airport, provided the documents & purchases are presented at the VAT counter. Need to confirm this also. Tks.
