Vasari Corridor Tour

Need advice to see the best way a family of four (3 adults 1 teenager) can visit Vasari Corridor in June 2014. Does anyone know of any dependable tour I can join? Is it best to only do Vasari Corridor tour by paying for tour which is the only way you can get in or guide and then buy ticket to the Uffizzi to save money? Also, what are other attractions you can recommend visiting near Uffizzi?

I did the tour with Artviva, although I think there may be one or two other companies also do... But it is very limited. It can only be done with a tour guide, and if I recall you need to also be signed up for the tour thru the Uffizi beforehand, that way you will be at the correct spot for the Vasari corridor since it is not well marked.

Anyway, it was nice to have the tour guide during the Uffizi portion, she did a good job giving info on the artwork I thought.

My wife and daughter used Viator last September. They were quite pleased. The tour did include going through the Uffizi first.
