Does anyone know where you can purchase tickets for the Vasair Corridor and/or if it will be open in October? I emailed [email protected] but have not received a reply.
Thank you for any help you can provide.

I have done some searching for this for myself and it looks to me like it is still closed for reno. I found one website that said it was to reopen in 2022 but nothing else specific about it having reopened.
While I don't ever book thru Viator (a 3rd party tour reseller owned by Trip Advisor) I sometimes look to see who is listed there and what kind of tours are being offered. When you google it a "Vasari Corridor tour" comes up but it is not clickable. Ditto with 2 other local companies on their Vasari Corridor tours.
You've probably been to this page on the Uffizi website where nothing is clickable:
Wait a couple of days and write directly to the Great Kraut in Charge: [email protected]
The contract was awarded in September 2020, the works started in January 2021 and were supposed to end in 18 months. Even if the works hadn't been delayed because of post-covid shortage of raw materials, on May 2022 they found some bodies buried under the Cacce Courtyard.
Right where they were installing the new heating system, imagine the workers' faces...
Dunno if they called the cops or the archaeologists, but I doubt they are opening The Corridor before the Xmas season. Even if Mr. Schmidt says so.
@ Pam and Dario - thank you both very much for your help!!!
Dario! Thank you for the scoop!
We are in Florence and it doesn’t appear that the Corridor will be opening anytime soon. The portion over the Ponte Vecchio still has exposed ceilings and at the Pitti Palace, there looks to be quite a bit to do-blocked off. Can’t even see the Grotto there as it’s right next to where they are working on the Corridor and it is blocked off. Our tour guide to the Uffizi figured by Christmas at the earliest, but? Entrance in the Uffizi is still boarded up also.
Well, this is good to know. I'll be in Florence next month and have been watching the website hoping the corridor will be open while I'm there. Ah well, guess I'll just have to find other places to go. Please let us know if you get a reply to your email.
