I've read several conflicting points of view on this: Arriving, with luggage, at the ferry dock in Varenna, which way do I walk to the Hotel Du Lac? I don't want a taxi--I know it is a short walk and I only have one piece of luggage. Some say go to the main road to avoid cobblestones, others say walk the scenic walk along the Lake to avoid cobblestones. Any experts out there with suggestions? Thanks!!
