While research restaurants in Varenna a few months ago, I came across a recommendation for a restaurant that was described as being difficult to get to because it was up a long winding road and you needed a car to get to it. It was also described as small, intimate, romantic. The restaurant looked a little like an enoteca, with tables inside the restaurant and a few in the alley/square just outside the restaurant. Now, for the life of me, I can't find that restaurant's name again. With apologies for only having so few facts, any thoughts on what restaurant it may have been?
Have you tried using something like this and selecting 'restaurants' to see if it triggers a memory?
That worked!!! The restaurant was Semi di grano. Thanks for the great idea and assist!
Good to see it worked.
When clicking on the google maps link, I saw "Bologna" and I was like "WHAT!?!?!" and then I looked it up and it is 307 km from Bologna to Bologna....
I looked on that restaurant menu and they had pasta with black lemon! Very intrigued!
Looking at some of the menus in English on google confused me a lot......I like looking at the Italian menus to see what they are TRYING to say :)
