Might be able to fit an extra day into Varenna Sept 2025. Other than Milan, are there any memorable locations with in a 30 minute to 1 hour train ride from Varenna?

Bergamo is almost 3 hours by train from Varenna. Stresa takes even longer to reach.
Have you already factored in other sites/villages around the lake which can be reached by ferry?
