Novice travelers staying in Perledo and would like to know about travel to Varenna. Bus? Taxi? Walkable? Best places to eat and visit.

How are you getting to Perledo?

Hello sklmeadow, and welcome to the forum,
I've been to Varenna but not Perledo but I know there taxis in Varenna but I think there are only a couple and not a fleet so I'm sure there's a waiting time at peak demand.

I see various bus stops scattered around Perledo on Google maps you can check how close one is to your place. Google maps shows scheduled buses from Perledo but I would double check the timings.

It looks like the new bus schedule starts on June 8th when season starts to ramp up.
