Is the ristorante Ceminetto in Perledo still open. We had the most wonderful dinner there 9 years ago. While staying in Varenna, the owner of the restaurant picked us up along with another couple and drove us to the restaurant in a 500 year old building. The food, warm atmosphere and wine were fantastic. This was a Rick Steves recommendation. Sadly, I see that the owner has passed away and it is now closed. Can anyone recommend a dining experience in or near Varenna that comes close?
