Our hotel in Venice will be near Fondamente Nove. We will be renting a car when we leave and are not sure of the vaporetto routes. Can we connect from Fondamente Nove to the train station going counterclockwise or do we have to go all the way back to San Marco and up the grand canal? About how long does it take?
We will have a 3 day pass but can we buy a single ticket at Fondamente Nove on the morning of the 4th day when we leave?
I'm fairly sure the car rentals are by the train station. Is that correct.

Car rentals are at Piazzle Roma, not near the station. You can get a vap from Fond Nove to P. Roma direct. You can buy a ticket on Fond. Nove. The vap route is 4.1
