Four of us are traveling to Venice in April. Does anyone know if the CartaVenezia pass can be used by all of us or do we need to buy individual passes?
Thanks,
Les

From the VeneziaUnica site:
To validate multiple tickets (in case of several people)
Move the card to the centre of the validating machine and check that the green led light turns on
Keep the card pressed to the centre of the validating machine and press + or – to change quantity
Press OK
Les,
Zoe is correct. Each passenger needs their own vaporetto ticket or pass, except for children under 6 years of age, who can ride for free.
Here is a good article that explains all the different types of passes available in Venezia:

We purchased 6 - 24 hour passes for our family. We rode Vaps a lot. It was worth it but it isn't inexpensive. We saw Venice, Giuidecca, the Lido, and some islands.
