Vaporetto in Venice

Planning on taking the vaporetto from Santa Lucia to Rialto (to the hotel), another trip from the bus area to St Marks (to do Rick Steves audio guide), and then the next day day trips to Murano & Burano. Later that evening to VCE to catch my flight home. I'm thinking about buying the 2 day vaporetto pass. Would this be the most cost effective way?

Yes, since each ride is about 9 EUR these days.

Yes, but note that the vaporetto doesn't go to the airport, the Alilaguna does, and that is a separate ticket.
Enjoy this magical city. Safe travels!

The pass is a true 48 hour pass
So if first use is Monday at 10 am it is good thru Wednesday 10 am

Be sure to validate each time you board
Big fines if you forget

You can ride vaporetto as far as Piazzale Roma then catch the bus to airport ( or a land taxi)

And when you purchase the pass you can add the airport bus for a discount.
