Vancouver BC or Seattle to Venice flights

Hi there.
This is not our first rodeo buying international flights, but geez, we're overwhelmed.

Going on Village Italy tour in October.

Is it just us or is it kind of crazy procuring flights? I'm okay with we're crazy and it's us.

But I thought I'd check in. Any tips out there for us to get to Venice?

Many thanks!

British Airways sale through 5/24. I ‘d at least look at it. Aer Lingus also advertising sale currently.

What's the difficulty? Alternatively, would you consider Milan or Bologna and take the train to Venice? Or look at them for a multi destination flight rather than straight return flight?

From Vancouver you can fly Lufthansa to Venice, changing planes in Frankfurt, or British Airways via Heathrow or Air Canada via Toronto. Or Montreal. According to Skyscanner, total travel time is between 14 and 16 hours, and cost is around US1100 return from Venice, though I guess you will be coming back from Milan?
Seattle probably same airlines plus Delta and United? Comparable cost.

Good ideas, Lesley, thanks.

I think we just need a break from going around in circles. . .
