Val Gardena now. Beautiful weather.

I promised to give updates on Val Gardena weather due to the rainy forecast this past couple of weeks. I am here in Ortisei and the weather has been gorgeous. I absolutely love it here and the people here are so friendly and the mask and the vaccination card check are pretty strict. I hiked Seceda area for 8 hours today and finished the day with the best risotto with chanterelle mushroom. Be sure to pack a fleece jacket and sunscreen, and trekking poles are really handy!

Thanks much minpal2002. We are about two weeks behind you on departure and staying in Ortisei and it's nice to have some current information. Hope the remainder of your trip is great.

Great to hear.
It was one of our favorite spots a few years ago when we went. Val Gardena is beautiful!!
