I am looking for a home base to explore the Tuscany region for 4 days. I will have a rental car. I found a listing in the "Val di Chiana area". I cant find much on that area. It looks close to a town named Farnetella. Any advice?

If you like the listing, I say go for it - it's in the center of many of the most popular places to visit in Tuscany.
I like Sinalunga. Logistically perfect, along the to the freeway Siena-Bettolle, which makes it easy and fast to drive anywhere. The town itself is not a small village, but it is very pretty mid size town and there are all the amenities you need, including a decent size shopping center with a huge Coop Grocery store. You can also take the train to Siena, Chiusi, Lucignano, Arezzo. If you like the accommodations you saw, go for it. You’ll love Sinalunga, you’ll want to move there.
