I'm going to Italy (7th trip) in late April. Does anyone know if the USA has any form of digital proof of Vacccination like the QR code in Europe?

While some US states have digital/app/qr vaccination varificatin platform, none of them are compatible with Europe’s standardized system.
Picture of the CDC card on your phone seems to be the most used, mostly working solution for when vaccination proof is requested. (Which is becoming less common there.)

It would be wise to carry your original CDC card along with your passport
You’ll need both to board your flight
