Has anyone had good or bad experience with ondaytrip in a Italy?
We used ondaytrip in Eastern & Central Europe with very good success. Also used their service in Spain and the service was mixed.

What kind of intercity transfers are you looking for and why not just take the train?

They are an Uber-like intercity tech-platform service mainly moving 2-3 people in personal cars from one hotel to another. Our last use was a Sept, 2019 transfer from our hotel in Krakow to our hotel in Lviv. Usually, the drivers have been personable students, teachers on summer leave or retirees. We've mainly used the service in Eastern Europe, (Balkans, Baltics etc) with very good results.

Rail in Italy makes good sense and we will use for several of the connections.

I googled ondaytrip.com and it came up with https://mydaytrip.com/. I assume this is the service the OP is asking about? Just curious, I don't have any experience with it.

Yes, they brand as both "mydaytrip" and "ondaytrip".

There have been several posts in the past by people who used mydaytrip.com, I think primarily in central/eastern Europe. I believe all the comments were positive.
