I recently purchase a Quad-band phone and had it unlocked so that I may purchase a SIM card in Italy. I was told this will be the cheaper way to communicate. I will be arriving in Florence and taking the train to Chiusi. Can anyone tell me where the best place to purchase a SIM card along this path and any other information or experience about purchasing a SIM card in Italy. Will I be able to purchase internet capabilities/text messaging on that SIM card? Your help is most appreciated.
