Used Coopculture.it to buy col. and forum pass - but didn't receive email voucher

I used the coopculture website http://www.coopculture.it/en/colosseo-e-shop.cfm
as recommended by other travelers to buy advanced tickets for the Coliseum and Forum this morning (5/29/16 around 9:30 am PST). I got a confirmation from their bank saying the credit card charge was successful - and on the last screen when I was buying tickets it said it was successfully ordered. Message was:

"Order successfully registerd. You'll receive an email with all details and code to access the structure. If you don’t receive any confirmation email, please check your ‘spam folder’ or write us at [email protected]"

I have yet to receive another email from them. When I ordered the Vatican tickets it worked fine. Bank message email, then the actual voucher for the Vatican museum. Should I be concerned that I have not yet received an email confirming the voucher from the coop? I have been checking my spam. I'm wondering if my Booking Code on that order confirmation screen shot (showing I bought 3 tickets) is enough to get in?

Appreciate anyone's feedback on this. We are visiting on June 12, 2016 so want to make sure we have the tickets.

Did you email them as was instructed? If not, give it a try. They can resend the email confirmation.

It says on the coop website that persons under 18 (European and non European) are free...if I'm reading that right. True?

I read it that it is only 18 and under free on the first Sunday of the month. I cut and pasted the text below.
Also - I have still not received a confirmation voucher from them that I have a ticket I'm starting to get concerned What a hassle.

Correct. I believe that it does not include US citizens. I thought I read that somewhere too. I didn't take a chance and went ahead and bought a ticket for my 15 year old.

The US under 18 are free on that first sunday. That's how I interpreted it.

So if I'm a US citizen I have to buy my tickets there? We land in Rome around noon and were just planning on doing the RS walking tour that afternoon/evening. I guess an option would be to buy tickets at the Palatine Hill that evening - we plan on going to colosseum next day. Advice on that plan?

You can buy tickets on-line. But your question was about the under 18. You can buy tickets there too - but it was recommended to buy on-line so you don't have to wait in line. Maybe someone else can also offer advise. I am only going off of what the website says, and what others have told me. Hope you have a good trip!

Copied off Italy Museum website...

Reduced price tickets are available only for EU Citizens between the ages of 18 and 25 and for the european school teachers. Free price tickets are available for children under 18 years of age. If you are booking this type of discounted tickets you have to confirm (selecting YES) you belong to the favoured category.

I'm confused...

You might want to repose your question in a diff topic thread because and get more responses. But the bottom line is if you have a US born child under 18 (or you are under 18) then you HAVE TO BUY THE ADULT ticket. You can buy them on-line. If you are going on the first sunday of the month, and you are under 18, then you can get in for free, but then you can't make a reservation on-line (because why would you make a reservation if you are getting in for free). If you are with ADULTS that are going on that 'free under age 18 sunday" - they would need reservations. Hope that helps.

BetsyJane is incorrect in her entire post!! If you are under 18 you get in for free, no matter where you're from. It doesn't matter if you're from the U.S. or not. You just need to show your passport to get the free tickets. You can actually purchase free tickets online for a 2 euros fee. You cannot print these at home but must pick them up at the special events desk. You must show your passport in order to pick up the tickets.

The first Sunday of the month entry is free for everyone, regardless of age or where you're from. There are no tours run on free Sundays. Free entry doesn't include any tours, you'll still pay for those. Everyone, including those over 18 get in for free on the first Sunday of the month. It's not just for those under 18. You cannot purchase free tickets for this day and will need to wait in the line in order to get your free ticket. You don't need to show any proof for this day, everyone qualifies.

Do NOT buy an adult ticket if you're under 18 and can prove it. Just buy the 2 euros ticket and pick it up at the box office. If you're going on free Sunday just be prepared to wait in a very long line.

Kholl, the translation for United states is Stati Uniti when purchasing your tickets.

Betsy, I'm not sure which site you're using but the information you've posted is not from the official colosseum website.

I sincerely apologize if I gave wrong info. I used this website:
http://www.coopculture.it/en/colosseo-e-shop.cfm
It is the one also my cousin used to by his ticket and it was fine. I most have just not interpreted it correctly regarding 18 and under. I should have checked here first. It seemed so simple.

That said.... I still haven't heard from the company that I have a voucher - so I am disappointed - but may have to just deal with it there. I've sent two emails and no reply. They charged my credit card for sure. Wondered if anyone else has experienced delay in receiving their confirmation.

Again, sorry for misinformation and I hope that lady checks back here for your responses.

Just print out what they sent you and be sure to take the credit card you paid with with you to the colosseum. They should be able to look up your booking.

Update: I did receive the vouchers for admittance. They responded to my email inquiry. I think the lesson here for me is to allow time for planning and learning. We only decided 3 weeks ago to travel to Italy so it's been a bit of a whirlwind. I know others plan much further on advance. Nevertheless I feel prepared if not ready with every detail and looking forward to adventure.
