US Youth Under 18 at the Uffizi and Accademia

I will be in Florence in June 2015. I decided against a Firenze Pass. I went to www.firenzemusei.it to book reservations. The site says "all" children under 18 are free. My daughter is 14 and we are American not EU. I bought her the "free" reservation with the 4Euro fee. Will we get in or have to wait. Should I just purchase her a full price ticket?

I hope someone can clarify for me. I need a speedy response to try to get her the same time if she doesn't get in free.

She is free at the Italian national museums. That rule was solidified a year or two ago. Since she is young enough not to be mistaken for 19, she probably won't need to show ID. You will all enter together through the door for reservations.

So choosing the "free" option on the site will make her the necessary reservation, then?

You will still need to carry passports with you. They may check or they may not but it's Italian law to have government issued I.D. on you. IF you're from the U.S. they only thing that qualifies is a passport.
