Hi everyone I am in Spain right now and heading to Rome in a few days. I just now decided that I would like to do a guided tour of the colosseum all levels included even the dungeons. I called the offcial website but nothing is available for the dates I am there. Is there a company you might have used that is not incredibly pricey that you would recommend?
I found one for 90 euros but that seems excessive. Thank you so much !
Most of the private companies charge a lot more than they should. I would try the official site again to see if something has become available. If not, the regular tour gives all the same information about the structure, you just don't get to go to the underground level (not dungeons) or the third tier.

I took the Walks of Italy tour last fall, which included all you mention plus the Roman Forum, etc. it was very good. List price was 89 euros, but they offered a 10 per cent "Rick Steves discount" and additional discounts for kids and for seniors.
You can book a tour of the forum at the forum if you wish for 5 euros each. They only do them on certain days but it may be something to check into.

You can book it at the palatine hill ticket office. They run the tours.
