Can any travellers out there recommend a charming place to stay for two seniors
within the city center area in Urbino during the month of May?

We were in Urbino a few weeks ago and had a good stay at Albergo Italia. It's not exactly what you'd call "charming" but it's comfortable and perfectly located near the city center. The cost is reasonable and the breakfast o.k. Check Booking.com or the hotel website to see if it would be suitable for you.

I also stayed at Albergo Italia. It's not super stylish nor especially "charming" in decor, but it's well-located and quite comfortable with a good breakfast, a nice terrace and pleasant staff.
