I am staying in Pesaro and taking the bus to Urbino. Return buses seem to take longer and leave from locations I do not recognize. Has anyone gone to and from Urbino by bus who can shed light on the trip?
I have been to Urbino, but by car. Le Marche is incredibly pleasant to drive in. Sorry I can't be more help about the bus, but if you want to know more about what we saw in our 5 days in Le Marche in 2008, let me know.

Have you checked Rome2Rio.com?
There's a plaza below the town where the buses I took parked -- lots of buses. There's also a TI there. I remember taking an elevator down to the level of the plaza, and it was easy. Sorry I can't give you specific directions, but there were lots of people coming and going so hopefully it should be relatively easy to find.
Information on the Rome2Rio site is what prompted my question. Thanks for the information about the TI and the bus congregation spot. I am very psyched about this destination!
How did it go?

Wonderful - the bus driver told me when the last bus would leave from the central stop. Later buses leave from a stop on the other side near the university. Urbino was well worth the effort and transportation back and forth to/from Pesaro was very convenient.
Awesome - thanks for sharing. Le Marche is a unique part of Italy and I hope to return some day.
